Your account

Do I need an account?
No account is needed to look at the board. A free account lets you take the quiz, save gaps, tick tasks and see the five stages of every plan, and it keeps your progress on any device you sign in on.

I forgot my password.
On the sign in page, type your email and choose Forgot password. The link arrives within a minute and works for 60 minutes. Check spam if it does not show up. If you signed up with Google, use Continue with Google instead: there is no separate password.

Can I change my email address?
Email us from the address on the account and tell us the new one, and we will move it over.

How do I delete my account?
In the app, open the You tab and choose Delete my account. It cancels any subscription, removes your sign-in and your saved progress, and cannot be undone. We keep payment records only as long as tax law requires.

The board and the plans

What is a gap?
A gap is a specific online business opportunity: a real model paired with one industry, with an estimate of what it could earn, the tools it needs, and a five-stage launch plan from proving the idea to the first paying customer.

Where do the revenue figures come from?
From what comparable operators charge and how many customers one person can realistically serve. Every figure is labelled Potential for that reason. It is an estimate of what the opportunity could earn, not a prediction of your results and not a promise of income.

What does the match score mean?
Take the sixty second quiz and every card shows how well that gap fits the time, budget and skills you told us about. It is a guide to where to start, not a verdict.

When do new gaps land?
Every night at 11pm UTC. That is 7pm on the US east coast and 9am or 10am the next morning in eastern Australia.

How do I use the prompts?
Copy a prompt into Claude, ChatGPT or a similar assistant, replace the words in [BRACKETS] with your own details, and send it. They are written for that exact business, so you start from a strong first draft.

Insider and billing

What does Insider add?
The words: every task and every prompt on every plan, and each new gap’s full plan the night it lands. Free accounts see the five stages, the hours and the tools, plus one sample plan in full.

How much is it?
$29 a month or $230 a year, in US dollars. The year works out at about $19 a month.

How do I cancel?
In the app, open You, choose Manage subscription and then Cancel. It takes two clicks. You are not charged again and you keep Insider until the end of the period you have paid for.

How do I switch between monthly and yearly?
Open Manage subscription and change the plan there. Stripe credits what is left of your current period, so you are never charged twice for the same days.

How do I update my card or get an invoice?
Both are in Manage subscription. Every payment also sends a receipt by email with a link to the invoice.

My payment failed. What happens now?
We email you and Stripe tries again over the next few days. Update the card in Manage subscription and it goes through. Nothing you saved is lost in the meantime.

Can I get a refund?
Yes, if you email within 14 days of your first payment, no reason needed. After that, cancel any time and it simply stops renewing. The full details are in the refund policy.

Is GST included?
From 1 October 2026, customers in Australia pay GST, and it is included in the price you see, not added on top. Your invoice shows the GST amount and our ABN, 31 374 482 196.

Do you store my card?
No. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Email

What emails will I get?
If you said yes at sign-up: the nightly drop when new gaps land, the odd tip on a plan you started, and occasional offers, never more than one of those a day. Everyone gets emails about their own account: password resets, receipts and billing.

How do I get less email, or none?
Every email has an Email preferences link at the bottom. You can choose everything, just the nightly drop, a month’s pause, or nothing promotional. The Unsubscribe link stops promotional email in one click.

An email from you went to spam.
Mark it as not spam, or add info@theearlybird.co to your contacts, and the next ones will land in your inbox.

Your data

What do you keep about me, and can I get a copy?
The privacy policy sets out what we collect and why. Email us from the address on your account to get a copy, correct something, or have it deleted.

What are the cookie settings about?
They control the cookies we use to measure which ads bring people to us. Change your answer any time with Cookie settings, also at the bottom of every page.

Still stuck?
